Does anyone watch this show? I had never seen it, but my sister loves it and pestered me to get the first season on DVD. She promised to buy them if I didn't like the show. I was really pleasantly surprised. Its also kinda strange to see Anthony Michael Hall all grown up.

Is the Wonder Years series available on VHS?? All I had found was a Christmas Special that had two episodes on it and a Best of Wonder Years that has parts of various episodes on it. As much as I would prefer DVD I would definately buy the show on vhs. One of the best shows ever, IMHO.

Has anyone heard any news on them putting the other seasons of OAA on DVD? I really liked the first season and cannot believe that I won't get to see what happens. I don't have cable, so no chance for me to tape the showings on Lifetime.

I think you are right that it is a holder contraption that Brian rigged up. It always looked like a big can to me, like a coffee can or something that he tied to the tree. I definately got the impression that it was a favorite hang out spot for Brian.
