Is this seriously "The Day Before Tomorrow" or something? On Sunday here in Kansas City there were several funnel clouds spotted, tornado watch ALL DAY LONG and some tornadoes spotted (thankfully for me) outside of KC. And there was tennis ball (yes, TENNIS BALL) sized hail documented north of here....

Maybe it's better to think of MSCL as a show about a family and their friends, through the eyes of the eldest daughter... rather than a teen show. One of the interesting aspects was the parallels between Angela and her mom, "in my humble opinion." We get to see why Angela is how she is. And of cours...

My point about saying I would've agreed when I was 12 was simply pointing out the fact that the show would not have as much relevance NOW (at 22) if it did not include all aspects of family life; it would be seriously lacking something. I agree. I'm 23 now, and I watched the show for the first time...

When my brother and I were little (around 4 and 7) we were asking my parents what the 70s were like, disco, etc. So they decided to watch Saturday Night Fever with us, thinking that it would be a perfect example of the music, clothes, and dancing. I should mention that it had been a while since they...

I'm rooting for Seattle. Because Mike Holmgren is the coach for one, I have family in Seattle for two, and I like their outfits better.

I'm such a girl sometimes... in the good way!

At least one of those reasons was a football reason. Tied in to the Packers be that as it may. :D

Wow, grim, you've really been thinking about it! And all this time I've just wanted Libby to hook up with Hurley. I'm still very hooked on this show too. Although, I am not as satisfied with the plot lines as I was last season still. Maybe I'm a wimp, but now that things are getting more and more da...

"I Wanna Be Sedated" is a Ramones song. Jordan's band was covering it on one episode (On the Wagon? can't remember title...) So I'm not sure that someone auditioning with "I Wanna Be Sedated" on American Idol is necessarily an MSCL reference.
