Harry Potter #7

am I really the first to create this topic? feel free to move me if not. just wanted to express my sheer happiness and sadness at the coming arrival (tomorrow!) of the last Harry Potter book. my boyfriend keeps rolling his eyes at me, but I can barely hold in my giddiness. and I'm not leaving my hou...

That sounds interesting, but the story could go either way. I absolutely love Sarah Polley though and look forward to seeing her with Jared. :)

I've only had a chance to see the pilot, but yeah I'm already craving the time to sit down and watch the whole disc. she's so cute with her attitude and comebacks. while she was still tough in season 3, I can definitely see how they softened up her character. but I guess that had something to do wit...

I'm sad to see it go as well, I just started watching the show this season. but I'm getting season 1 from netflix today! whoot! it does seem clear from the forums I've read that everyone loves season 1, so I'm excited.

that's so funny Sascha because I've been doing the same thing. I moved (yesterday actually) and watched Buffy while I packed. except I started with season 7 because I had only seen it when it aired. it wasn't my favorite season, but I liked it better than when I first saw it. I'm also just now start...

I'm looking forward to seeing this movie because I read the book several years ago when I was backpacking in Europe, so it has some sentimental ties. but not to mention the amazing cast. you hardly ever see so many great actresses together in one film. I think it also proves the caliber of Claire Da...

yeah they had one of those sing alongs here in New York in May, but I was out of town. I totally would have gone too. I'm not a comic book fan at all, but I've read the first Buffy comics that have come out so far in this new 8th season series. They definitely have the voice of the characters becaus...

since so many people wrote about Garden State, I just wanted to mention that I got to meet Cary Brothers at one of his shows in NY a couple of weeks ago. luckily my friend is a fan of all of his musician friends so we had some things to talk about for a bit. I don't know, it was fun. :P

the legend of 1900 has a nice score, plus songs used in the context of the film. it's also a great movie to check out. :)

so I was all proud of myself for making it through my first new york winter. in the last couple of weeks, the weather has gradually been getting warmer, even up to the 60s a few times. the city has been slowly waking up as well, with everyone getting spring fever. and then bam, out of nowhere, it go...

I have to say that I thought it was going to be a varsity blues type of show, so I didn't even give it a chance. I might though, if I can find the time for a new show!

its funny because I'm so critical of shows set in high school when my fav shows are about teens: MSCL and Buffy!
