Re: what other characters would you have wanted to narrate?

Hmmm, I think a Tino narration - from off camera, of course! - could be interesting. Or at least amusing!

Re: What's on your bookshelf?

I recently went to a used book store and picked up about a dozen classics that I felt I should have read by now but hadn't. Last weekend I read A Tale of Two Cities and totally loved it! Okay, there's not a lot of character development and the plot isn't exactly mind-bending, but Dickens' mastery of...

Re: Rickie mentioned in Gawker article about gay teens on tv

Hmm, I don't remember Rickie's gay-ness being a big deal either, although I'm fairly sure that there are more gay characters on TV today than back in the '90's. I'm glad you brought up Patty, though. I love that scene when Angela tries to mollify her mother by suggesting that Rickie might be "bi". P...

Re: Just got through watching and....

Ive spent the last few days watching the dvds and whoa. Its ended? I mean what do you watch after that? (I realise I am a million years late). I am coveting Angelas wardrobe right now. And thinking about how weird life must be being as pretty as Jared. I figure Jordan is to Angela what Tony was to ...

Re: Newbies!

I rented it from my local library and actually really enjoyed the show. I'm surprised that A) your local library had this on their shelves and B) that they "rented" it! I hope you mean that you just signed it out. If not, though, I'm all for local libraries exploring new revenue streams. Great job ...

Re: Life Unexpected

Yup, part of me wants to see Kate and Baze together just so that they and Lux can live happily ever after in a stable family unit. But then I think to myself - how boring and mainstream is that? I think that script has been written hundreds of times. It would be nice to see them tackle the challengi...

Life Unexpected

Has anyone else seen this CW drama from Liz Tigelaar? One of the stars is Shiri Appleby of Roswell fame. I've seen all the episodes so far although I can't really say I've fallen in love with the show. It oscillates between poignant themes (family, acceptance, loyalty, teen- and mid-life angst, etc....

Re: Best Year Ever

I just had to resurrect this discussion because it seemed to be a fitting place to say. . .Happy New Year! How is 2010 looking for you all? Amazing, terrible, mischievous, productive, scary, turbulent, etc.? All I can say for my 2010 so far is that it looks busy. :P
