MSCL was cancelled for low ratings --- period.

Well I've been blasted on this page before for making
weird associations to MSCL --- so I can relate. I
don't know if you know it, but Winnie Holzman, the
creator of MSCL, appears in a scene in Jerry Maguire.
So who knows?

They showed episodes 13 through 16 the past month, but
they have abrubtly stopped again. I wish they would at
least show "Betrayal" --- Episode 17 --- but I'm not
holding my breath.

As far as I could remember from the original airing, Episode 16 that Fox Family aired this past weekend was completely unedited. I think "Roswell" changed quite a bit over the course of the season. It started out much more like MSCL, with Liz doing voiceovers (like Angela on MSCL), and a lot of focus on teen life. I think it's pretty cool that WB decided to renew Roswell. It's too bad
MSCL wasn't originally running on a smaller, more "take-chances" network
back in '95.

I think the ratings are quite high and its going
to be on again next season. I haven't been watching
it lately, although I do think it's a good show.

The news section of this site has a little excerpt saying that episodes 10 and 11 definitely won't be aired. What's up with that? Why even bother showing it at all, I wonder? I really have to question the logic of the network acquiring the rights to MSCL, then basically bailing on it almost immediat...
