I still don't understand. Why is this a surprize to you? People in power have always and will always give preference to their friends. This isn't limited to Bush or the Republicans. Ask Tyson Foods. You would do it too if you were President. You don't get to those positions without owning people. It...

So I guess it was "DEAD OR ALIVE...or until we decide to consider him a low threat." Come on Andrew... Look at the context. I can go out into the Sierra Nevada's and be damn hard to find if I have no contact. But if I start having contact then there has to be someone coming or going on a regular ba...

Just how fast are things going in Iraq?

We've been there four-and-a-half months since the end of major military combat. ... Four-and-a-half months is just four-and-a-half months. Let me give you some comparison for context: In Germany after World War II, it took three years to get an independent central bank. In Iraq, it took two months....

You seem to be confusing Afganistan and Iraq. Are you one of those 60% that think there's evidence that Saddam had a hand in 9/11? I'll state that there's evidence that at least one of the hijackers met with Iraqis Intelligence officers. Other than that no... I don't think Saddam was a major player...

Ya I don't think we have much to discuss on this one though. Seems like the patriot act, something we both agree on. I agree that as far as this goes its a state matter and the Federal Court should keep out. That's where the 2000 election got fun was with the differences in state election laws verse...

Brown then asked Amanpour if there was any story during the war that she couldn't report. "It's not a question of couldn't do it, it's a question of tone," Amanpour said. "It's a question of being rigorous. It's really a question of really asking the questions. All of the entire body politic in my ...

No I mean push the little perferated paper out of the otherside... :D But I guess according to those in the know this is too difficult for minority folks. If I was a black man I would track down ...

Its a a law of nature or something... Just days after paying off my car, 3 years ago, the timing belt slipped and the whole engine proceeded to self destruct! Luckly I had just sold my house and had plenty of money to buy a new one. But the down side is that I could have and mostlikely would have us...
