Re: Honest Feedback and College Suggestions Needed!

Wow Allison, I don't have time to check the forum in a while, and you go and write a few great chapters. I very rarely read many fanfics as I find them unfaithful to the original story, but I'm really enjoying yours. As Jody said, you've stayed very true to the core of who the characters are despite...

Re: What do you think Tino was really like?

I've always pictured Tino as older than the rest of the group, but since he still went to Liberty High, I saw him as a senior, left back either once or twice (like Catalano), making him either 18 or 19. I don't think he was as devastatingly handsome as Jordan, but attractive in his own way. His sty...

Re: Honest Feedback and College Suggestions Needed!

I look forward to reading the new chapters.

Unfortunately I haven't had time to write anything. I hope I'll have some time in the late fall to start writing again, because it doesn't look like I'll have the time in the next month or so.

Re: Just another obsessed fan?

I'm a 36 year old male, and I love the show as much now, as I did back in 94. I always liked how the show captured the raw emotions of being a teenager.

Re: Is there anything else as good?

First of all, welcome to the site. I haven't found any teen drama to come close to MSCL. However, I did really like the show "Life as we know it". Similar to MSCL in many ways, but more from the male prospective. It's seems to be a love it or hate it kind of show. Here's a link to part 1 of the pilo...

Re: Honest Feedback and College Suggestions Needed!

Hey Steve, First of all, thanks for taking the time to read what I have so far. I appreciate it a ton! I agree that I need more dialogue. I didn't even realize it at first but it seems my 2nd chapter has, like, none! Like I said, this popped into my head and I wrote it in an hour or two at mo...

Re: Life of Jordan, Episode #20

Final thoughts: I actually agreed with Jody Barsch's comment that it didn't seem logistical that Jordan would go get Angela when he did and play that song for her in front of the band, at first when I was reading it. Then I had this thought: if that famous scene where Jordan walks up to Angela in t...

Re: Honest Feedback and College Suggestions Needed!

I generally don't like to give much feedback because I don't have much writing experience, but I'll offer some. It's hard to give much feedback with only 2 chapters posted, but what you have so far is actually pretty good. I like the twist of Jordan getting Rayanne pregnant that night in the backsea...

Re: Life of Jordan, Episode #20

Steve, Ok, so....I have only read Day 1(so far!). But I want to thank you for this because I truly loved it. I generally have a hard time reading fan fics in script form, but yours flowed! I especially loved Graham and think you got him down perfectly! As an adult now watching the show, I have to a...

Re: Angela's Journal...good idea or bad?

What was you fan fic about? Did you post it? I'd like to read it. :D I posted two in the FanFiction section. The first one, I'm happy with, the second one, I never had the time to really finish it, and just got tired of trying to find the time, so I just posted what I had. I never really even edite...

Re: Angela's Journal...good idea or bad?

I like the idea of writing from both Angela's and Brian's perspective.

I really wish I had time to re-write my last fanfic, and start up the new one I started a couple of years ago.
