Sad to come back to this thread and see how much I loved the first episode because since then, the show has gone so drastically downhill IMO. I'll still watch if I'm home, but I don't plan my night around it like I did for the first few episodes. I missed a few episodes too many and now I'm kind of ...

The "reunion movie" is not quite as it sounds. One of the cast members directed a movie -- a "mockumentary" -- and there's a scene in this movie where the whole cast, as themselves, appear together. The article didn't go into detail, but it's just a fleeting reunion.

That was a great article, but I almost had a heart attack when he named 3 of my favorite shows that I was sure no else watched: Arrested Development, Home Movies, and the obscurest and best of all: The Newsroom!! That show was The Office long before there ever was an office.

I think it was Season 7 or 8 when they tried to pull off that "Who Shot Burns?" gimmick. That was the ultimate "jump the shark" moment. That would be my last Simpsons purchase as well.

Sports Night was listed with MSCL as "the must-have cult classics on DVD" in the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly (I think). You may've also got it if you bought a Seinfeld DVD at Best Buy. I'm a infrequent poster on a Sports Night forum, and I can remember back when the plans for MSCL on DVD we...

Conversely, I wonder if TV on DVD is hurting TV. Whenever I miss out on a new show, I always find myself saying, "Eh, I'll just rent it when it comes out on DVD." But I usually never do. Also, I'm less inclined to watch a show on TV when I own it on DVD. I guess as long as the shows are making money...

Those are all terrible choices. They're far too young. Lois Lane was not a college student.

The DVD easter egg is hilarious :-) Hmm...don't remember there being an Egg. Those R2 DVDs always have better stuff. BTW, 3 episodes into season 2 and I think it's even better. The 2nd episode of this season was one of the funniest half hours I've ever seen. I love all the references to prevous sto...

I think I read in the Sept 17 Entertainment weekly that there is a new 2 CD re-release of the album 'Grace' with a previously unreleased song. So does anyone have this yet? It seems like it would be worth it just to get his version of "I Want Someone Badly". I just got Mystery White Boy. Wow. What ...
