I recommend two books. They're short and you feel better when you're done with them.

Susan Jeffers "Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway"

Shad Helmstetter "What to Say When You talk to Your Self"

I forgot to recomend wool gloves. I'll agree mittens are warmer, you can go with wool mittens, or the fingerless gloves where the mitten foldes over your finger tips. You don't want to go skiing in them, but for driving and everyday activity they are great. Wicks moisture away from the skin, rarely ...

I'm going to be traveling the weekend before halloween again this year so I'll miss the contests again. Last year I only went out on Halloween and I was Bender from Futurama. It turned out so well I've decided I'm just pulling it out of storage and doing it again. It's got the helmet that I made mys...

Well, I live in cold snowy ski town, so my advise might be a bit overkill. I’d classify leather, suede, and angora all as fashionable, but not what you want when winter really hits. Great to have in the closet, but not what you want in your first and only coat. Qualities you’re looking for are water...

(sorry, it's FOX news link, not my first choice for a source)

Protesting a funeral is simply repulsive. Yet another reason why fanatical religion is high on my list of things to avoid.

TWINS!

That's double the cause for celebration, congrads Megs.

Anybody else realising we're reminiscing about the old days of the forums devoted to reminiscing about the old days?

It's ok, I won't tell anybody, I'd just incriminate myself too. :)

Ah, my favorite thread, and a post from Jody, one of my favorite people here. Sounds like a perfect place to start posting after a long absence. I’m almost afraid, to read some of my old posts on this thread. I still stand by them, but boy was I an angry boy in some of those, but that’s just persona...

I feel sorry for the guy spying on me. He's going to need many years of therapy. Many, many, years of therapy.

I think beyond all the politics is one basic formula for how long we will stay in Iraq. Will it cost us more to maintain a presence there to ensure lower oil prices, or will it be more expensive to withdraw and deal with higher prices?
