I read Catcher In The Rye years ago, but couldn't quite relate to Holden. Today that might be different. At the time, I was consumed with my life as the Donna Reed of the twentysomething "young alternative" set. Anyone care to list their favourite banned books? Nothingman???

They met in Europe, had ludicrous chemistry, were starcrossed, came home, fought with their families, shacked up...then he slept with his boss. End of story. I couldn't stomach the cuteness of Kimberly Williams. She was sooo Tiffany Amber Annoying. The male lead was okay, but it was his roomie who w...

Of all four series, Relativity said the least to me. This may sound funny, but I could really relate to the characters on Thirtysomething while in my early twenties. Now it's Once & Again's Karen Sammler I find myself closest to. What a shame ABC axed that series.

I am so relating to what you said. Thing is, I grew up the odd little duckling, feeling loneliest in crowds. With time, I found my own voice and never again settled for less, for people with eyes that revealed little to no warmth or life. Shark eyes. I've spent the last week in some intense team bui...

Thank you. I have a great job. My beloved 93 year old Gran is still with me. Mom is doing great. There is so much I am grateful for. I'm not sure where this gnawing comes from.

This is so weird. I feel alone tonight. I mean, I'm always very busy with the office, training classes, the gym, spending time with the folks... Had dinner with buddies from class. Went to the cinema. Much later, as I was checking my messages, it hit me. At first, I wasn't sure what I was feeling. T...

The thing I remember the most is my teacher always said "Science Fiction is the only genre that deals with reality". I never realised that untill then, and then I understood that good SciFi always asks a fundamental question about our reality. The irony is many people view it as the furthest genre ...

Usually when I'm at my most carefree is when the guys start to queue. Confidence does kind of play into that spiritedness some guys find intoxicating, others maddening.

Nothingman should have a There Might Be Giants song written about him. ^^

You might like the Dark Shadows series of novels. I haven't kept up with them, but they were quite good from what I recall. Also, if you're into cooking this might be the time to try out a few new recipes. Graham would approve. ^^

We want to be with someone who has market value. The more people who are interested in you the more that will be interested in you. That's why these things seem to come in waves. We also like a challenge, if we can have ahead of the other guys who are interested in you then we have established that...

I guess the thing is that they get to SEE you in a different way, they see that you are desirable to others, which makes them re-evalute how they saw you int he first palce. Be careful though because a lot of the time the chase is what makes it interesting, not the getting. It won't go beyond the c...
