Re: Discussion for episode 18: Weekend

YAY! Another Twin Peaks fan! *hands you a damn fine cup of coffee and some cherry pie* * Gulp * Why thank you! I've always wanted to try one of these :) I actually DID like the second season, but I know that I'm in the minority. To my understanding, Lynch wanted to wait to reveal the killer but the...

Re: Discussion for episode 18: Weekend

I also am a HUGE fan of "Twin Peaks", so I had a "squee" moment when I saw Jack Nance (who played Pete Martell on "Twin Peaks") in that episode. Ditto :) (Although, speaking of shows that went on for too long, Twin Peaks is sadly one of them... The first season was perfect! The second MUCH less so.)

Re: Claire Danes in Temple Grandin

Just saw it and Clair was indeed AMAZING. Definitely worthy of all the praise. Her performance quality in the movie is on a par with that on MSCL (and we all know how absolutely brilliant that was!) , although one would imagine that this time it demanded much more from her. The whole movie is very m...

Wow, nice catch!
Never saw Felicity but that certainly seems like too much similarity to happen by accident...

Re: Discussion for Episode 19: In Dreams Begin Responsibilit

Anway, Graham is sexy, not just his looks, but his humor, his kindness, his attitude, I love him. -agreed. I agree as well. Being a male I wouldn't have chosen the word "sexy" though. I just think that Graham is cool, in the most positive way possible. I think he has a great attitude towards life a...

Re: Los Angeles * Summer 2012

I'm getting jealous already...
Sadly, I don't see myself coming up with the money needed to fly all the way to the USA next year. I guess I'll have to sightsee those locations alone someday...

Re: what other characters would you have wanted to narrate?

Jordan's attitude that sex is "expected" and his notion that it's all right to pressure someone into sex are unacceptable. You're making really good points, just have to keep the record straight, Jordan said accepted , not expected . That's true, but to keep the record even straighter I think that ...

Thanks BL!
As long as it's for private use, your welcome to use it anywhere you want.

As for Patty, I couldn't remember/find an interesting quote for her. I may go with "I refuse to panic just because she's happy" (referring to Angela, of course). Not sure yet...

Re: Re:

I agree with others that she feels bad for taking advantage of Brian. Was cleaning up her way to apologize to him? I think this is it. She feels bad for taking advantage of Brian and inviting Rickie and Rayann in the first place. Washing their dishes is the least she can do to make up for it (and t...

I think that watched "properly" (i.e with no distractions and in the right mood), this show would make almost anyone cry at some point(s).

And as "always" (since you joined this forum) your insights are a delight to read. :)
Have fun watching the last few episodes of this wonderful show!

Re: Who was Corey Halfrick really interested in?

I can't recall specific moments off the top of my head, but I remember that there were at least a couple of times when certain behaviors of Corey towards Rickie made my see pretty clearly that he's not romantically/sexually interested in him (at least not consciously). The only person I thought was ...
