Re: Song at the end of "Life of Brian" episode

You can find (I believe) a complete listing of all songs played on the show at this very site (Go to the site map and look under audio, I think.). I'm also under the impression that not all songs on the CD were actually in the show --- kind of a "songs in the style of the show" approach... or someth...

Re: Locations

Hey, I'm currently residing in the middle of Indiana --- and I'm no corn husker either (although if I were a corn husker, I'd probably be quite proud of it, thank you very much). Actually, I was born & raised in Chicago, so I'm not a real "hoosier." I'm 34, although since I was in graduate school 't...

Re: Catcher in the Rye

In Catcher in the Rye, I think the main character runs away from a boarding school. The character, if I remember correctly, has more serious problems fitting into society than Angela Chase (more like Rickie). I think Angela is really a more universal character --- She's almost a symbol of the typica...

Re: MSCL / Roswell Link

Well, everybody has a different perspective ------- Maybe you're just the sort of person looking for something completely different. I've sort of come to believe that people's tastes are quite different, and one person's majesty can be another's disgust. I've seen similar disagreements at this very ...

Roswell

I just wanted to echo some comments made earlier on the board, that the new WB show "Roswell" (created by MSCL story editor Jason Katims) is really outstanding. This past week's show was, I think, as good as any MSCL episode (bound to be a controversial statement, I can imagine --- but I really beli...

Re: Growth at MSCL.com

Wow --- you're older than me --- we should change user names!
I agree --- MSCL was just a great show, period. I was 29 when
I first watched, and yet it seemed to span time and age groups
and express something more fundamental.

Re: Why I like the show...

I just recently re-watched a bunch of episodes, so I'm in a mood to tell why I like the show: 1) Great stories --- There are 19 episodes of MSCL, each with a great plot that interweaves the actions, thoughts, hopes, etc. of several very interesting and believable characters. The plots are clever, in...

Re: Claire Danes movies..

Well, I think she does have a big ego. Despite the big efforts by many folks back in 1995 to get ABC to do a second season of MSCL, Claire Danes said she wouldn't be back even if they did a second season. She was already moving on toward her "big" future film career. I kind of expected bigger things...

Re: What is going on?

Angelika, I think these are just rumors --- I haven't heard anything to confirm any MSCL actor has been killed. It may be somebody's idea of a sick joke. You might want to check out the MSCL news page on this site --- They mention some other actor who was killed and rumored to have appeared once on ...

Re: Claire Danes movies..

Frankly, I think Claire has been a major disappointment since leaving MSCL. She's been in a lot of lame movies --- Sorry, but I didn't like any of the ones you mentioned. My impression is that she got a major attitude after her initial success with MSCL and has been a head case ever since. In retro-...

Episodes received!

I just received the seven shows in the mail --- Thanks, Matthew!
For anyone else interested, I can vouch for Matthew --- and he
didn't even charge me (except shipping costs). You've restored
my faith in humanity, Matthew!

Re: Yearbook Quote

Adam: My memory isn't so good on the word for word, but if you have the shows on tape, here are some good ones that you can double-check the exact wording for: 1) "My life just figured out how to get good" ---- from "Dancing in the Dark" (Ep. 2) 2) "This life is a test. If this had been an actual li...

Re: Can someone tell me the name of this song?

Actually, I found the info right at this web site
(look for the link for music info from "TINO"):

It says that W.G. Snuffy Walden wrote the
song. He's the guy who wrote and recorded
the theme music. Again, though, no info
about whether it has been released on CD.

Re: Can someone tell me the name of this song?

Both versions of "Red" in that episode are sung by the actor who
plays Jordan (What's his name again?). I don't know if it was recorded
or released elsewhere, although I agree that it's a cool song.
