Re: It's killing me!

Could the show have remained that brilliant without Angela obsessing over Jordan? Would splitting her attention/affection between Brian and Jordan have watered things down to the point of killing the show? I agree that the shows cancellation definitely has a huge impact on it's mystique. On one hand...

Re: First & Last Names

Is my memory slipping or was Ricky usually referred to only by his first name? It seems to me that everyone just called him 'Ricky'. Except of course for Mr. Katimski who called him 'Enrique'. (hope i spelled that right.) Please respond.

Re: First & Last Names

I think Joanna makes excellent points. She refers to "Dancing in the Dark" where Angela Says," What I like dread is when people who know you in completely different ways end up in the same area. And you have to develop, this like, combination you, on the spot." "COMBINATION YOU"...That's beautiful! ...

Re: Something so important - where were you?

Joanna, That was the beginning of 'Guns and Gossip' and it was a newsreel of JFK. In response to Colene's post... Yes, I did see the the film "9/11" on Sun. night and that WAS amazing. I hear CBS is going to show it again in the near future. Anyone who missed it should really consider taking it in. ...

Re: First & Last Names

Hey Anonymous, Get an original thought. This bitch you just spun is practically verbatim from Jump-The-Shark.com. Some 'Life'-basher already made this entire (lame) point on that board. Using first and last names is just another interesting way the writers distinguished the show from all the other t...

Re: Locations

Here's my two cents..... My name is Keith. I tell people I'm from St. Louis MO 'cause that's the closest major city to the small town I'm really from. (Though I do now live in St. Louis county.) "Home" was about 40 miles from the Gateway Arch. With respect to our Indiana posters, I guess you could s...

Germaine Greer?

I was watching "Why Jordan Can't Read" last night and I always wonder what Patty is talking about when she is talking to Camille and she says," We are going to end up looking like Germaine Greer on the back of that book". Can someone shed some light on what she is talking about for me please.?... k-...

I don't understand why people feel the need to attack other's posts in this forum. Hey, NIGHTJESSI....don't pay any mind to negative comments. And, CERTAINLY don't bother with someone who posts under anonymous.

The DVD's

I just visited AnotherUniverse.com and did a search on MSCL and sure enough... up popped a pre-order page for the boxed set. They are taking deposits of $20 for the set. I tried to put mine in but the last screen isn't set up yet where they take your credit card#. It's a start though! Check it out! ...

Re: Hallie in Smallville??

I had the television on last week while working around the house and Smallville came on ( i have never seen it before) and without seeing her face Superman's mom came on and spoke and before I looked up I would have sworn it was Hallie. From across the room, it looked/sounded exactly like Hallie. On...

Re: Favorite MSCL Moment

Picking a favorite moment is tough. Maybe someone should create a post that goes something like,"Other than the ending of 'Self Esteem' what is your favorite MSCL moment?". That may get some interesting answers.
