While reading the article, originally I was irate, it seemed all lopsided, from Ross' twisted point of view, but then Jason's side came through as well. Although this statement from Ross really makes me want to so some serious damage... "I'm going to do the best I can, make as many people as satisfi...

Re: less than 1,000!

Too bad that "Less than 1,000 left" isn't a counter that we could watch skyrocket in real time as people cancelled... Less than 1,047 left... Less than 1,384 left... Less than 2,519 left... I laughed out loud when I read this. I count myself as part of the proud group that cancelled their AU orders.

Re: Hacked off

And as this is going on, Derek (our Derek, not the "Derek" listed in Hack Weiser's ramblings) has been having constant conversations with Ross Rojek about the DVDs. He just sent some to me now, so Part III IS coming (even if the previous 2 parts may now be a memory), and soon. Thanks for bearing wi...

The assertion that they can't reply to emails is horsesh*t and I refuse to accept it. I have emailed Ross four times in the past week and I'm not letting up on him until I get a response. Huh...like when hell turns into a skating rink.  Here is the text of the last email I sent, which ...

optimistic or on crack? Or an agent of AU trying to do damage control? I haven't seen "Cate" around here lately, and we've seen this type of "I'm one of you, but AU isn't all that bad, maybe it's [insert involved party as long as it isn't AU here]'s fault. Give AU a break." If you had money stolen ...

Re: Another Universe and Ridiculous Responses

"The reason we are faxing is our email system is backed up with five hundred emails for people canceling, ordering, and tryign to uncancel their cancels, and it's really hard on us when everyone is backing out of their deal." Oh, that's right, I *forgot* that AU is the victim here, not the customer...

Although it would probably cost more to get a lawyer than the $30 we are out. Collectively, AU made out with *much* more than that. You may have no problem handing out interest free loans, I, along with many other people on this board on the otherhand, do. As for the delays, you could have cancelle...

Hi Cate! As for claims that OLS is on the same level as AU in terms of customer service and delivery (or lack thereof) please provide proof. I ordered for OLS way back when had no problems.

My cancellation has been placed through Drygrass, but I guess I'll have to start emailing Ross in order for it to actually take effect. Good bye and good riddance AU. I would call AU at 888-5-comics. Ross won't be back until October 21. And Wade said today that he has a lot of orders to process tha...

sorry for the length of this but as you can clearly see Jason was doing the Customer Service for AU for quite some time. And yes, he had Gord take over during his honeymoon. The rest of your comments will have to wait, sorry. Cate, I think you'd have a valid point if you could prove that Jason trie...

Ever think that with most people cancelling (in a relatively short period of time) and deaing with all of the double charges that yes, their accounting dept would indeed be "backlogged"? Keep in mind that the MSCL DVD is not the only thing this company is selling. I think "backlogged" is probably a...

I've been involved in this MSCL for months and months, from the side-lines. I've been standing beside Jason when he's taken calls that make him jump up and down, and I've sat across from him when he's answering customer's emails at Burger King on his PALM. Jason tried EVERYTHING possible to make su...

Re: To open up an old wound

Okay, so I have been reading this forum for about 4 months now. I finally decided to purchase my copy on the supposed ship date, September 17. Luckily, I have not gone through the double-charge fiasco, nor have I really had anything of note happen except get a bit confused from post to post. So, th...
