The one time I tried ordering from them, it was a preorder, and it was supposed to ship the day the dvd was supposed to be released. They they pushed the date back over a week (I guess because of stocking issues). Most sites I buy from, if they don't make their shipment date, they're willing to eith...

Wow, great list. I laughed harder at that than anything this week. Great! Did you make that up, or did you find it somewhere?

There is nothing worse than listening to a commentary where someone keeps telling you, "This is the part where... The best example of this was listening to Ahnold watching Conan for the first time in 10 years. "Ah! Dis is da time where I hit him on de head. I love dat part, he he. Ah remember doing...

I need to check my collection, but I know the cast commentary on the extended LOTR discs are great. Oh! Best, ALL TIME DVD commentary: Cannibal The Musical! Trey Parker, Matt Stone and friends all sit around getting drunk while watching it. Absolutely hilarous!!! You just cannot beat this commentary...

Happy Thanksgiving!

Now that its almost over, I hope everyone had a nice big turkey and a stomach full of mashed potatoes! Oh, and that relatives weren't too annoying! Ha ha. The best part of today was hearing my obnoxious cousin find out that the girls he'd been oogling for the last couple hours were going to be his s...

The only part that I found visually interesting in it was where the guy was glopping vaseline onto the string in the car tube thing. Thats actually the scene that keeps popping into my head every few days. There was just something about it... I've also had the image of the carpenter/mason guy climb...

Re: Nachos

Even though its been a few months since I've seen them, I still find myself thinking about the images in the movies. I really really really want to get them on DVD, but there's no guarantee that these will ever get released. Can I ask what you didn't like about Cremaster 2? I've sort of found that I...

I've been watching my Two Towers discs. Anyone know if there is a trailer for ROTK on it? And what color do you think the ROTK box set will be? I'm guessing a deep golden yellow. I'm continually amazed at the quality of both these movies, and their dvd sets. I spent 4-5 hours yesterday watching some...

Re: Help! I'm new and I can't Quote

There's a sweet little button over that way ------> and up ^

and make sure when you quote that you don't delete the code that makes it a quote. Which looks like this:
text that is being quoted is in between
Re: 2004 election

What do you guys think about Wesley Clark? He seems to be floundering lately...haven't heard much from him. I get the idea that there are a lot of people trying putting a lot of support behind him, but there isn't enough substance yet for people to connect with. Though this interview with Fox News ...

Re: voting

I will probably be going to school in Boston next year so that should give me voting rights... right? I'd assume that if you have dual citizenship, then you have the right to vote, but I'm not positive. Usually you need to register to vote at least 14 days before an election, possibly a month. You ...

I'm liking this more and more. At first I thought it would be very hokey, but its pretty well done. I personally don't believe in god, but that doesn't stop me from enjoying the show through purely a storytelling standpoint. Some very interesting points of view that it brings up, and makes you think...

democrats are using filibusters to block these nominations Don't forget this is also a little childish. Actually its not. Its a very good tool that the minority uses to make sure the majority doesn't run rampaging across the agenda, basically throwing the minority out of congress. Minority right, m...
