I figured it was just an easy sexual reference. Angela, innocent as she is, made the "breaking and entering" analogy completely unintentionally, yet it still fits. Jordan pounces on the chance to make a crude joke, as many high school boys would. On the other hand, perhaps the deeper meaning is that...

Angela knows what going to boiler room means for couples. Going with to the boiler room with Jordan is a big step for her. I'm sure she probably had to give it some thought. That's interesting because I didn't read it that way at all. Angela has been a bit out of the loop from time to time and I as...

Whew, Kat you can write some long posts! I love your idea about watching while typing. I wish I had a tv in here so I could do that too! Well, First off I must say it really upsets me that so many people disliked this episode, I do NOT understand why. Well, like I said, to a lot of us, the whole ang...

It seemed realistic to me because there were so many times as a teen that I found myself in odd situations and had no idea how I had gotten there. Perhaps this goes along with the thread about Angela being an airhead, but this is exactly how I was at that age. I was the quiet girl with the wild best...

I'm one of those who really disliked this episode for the mysterious "is-she-or-isn't-she-an-angel" bit. I think perhaps because it is a Christmas chiche, not because it isn't well done - it is. Upon reading the Angela's world essay and re-watching it several times since I've had the DVD, I've found...

Another pro-Rickie vote here. I think the annoying characteristics Rickie had were consistent with his strengths, being that he loved his friends and cared for them so much that he couldn't bring himself to stand up to them on some occasions. I really related to that, being a hanger-on, being somewh...

Everything started to seem like, pornographic or something. Like, Mrs. Krysanowski has sex. So does Mr. Katimsky. They both have sex. They could -- have sex together. Like right now. I am, like, the *sickest* person. I LOVE this quote! Love it! It's got to be one of my favorite mscl moments. I reme...

A couple of suggestions: My song with my husband is "your song" by Elton John. I think that qualifies as timeless. We also have a back-up song that's kind of a joke: "Total Eclipse of the Heart." Angela and Brian are probably too young for that one. It's so overly dramatic, and there's a techno vers...

Honestly, that's what I always assumed too. That it was just a random car that happened to be unlocked. That they probably didn't know whose car it was, just that it was someone student's car, so they knew most likely they wouldn't get caught there in it.

Wow!!! WOW, I'm just blown away! I just sat here and read that whole thing beginning to end, and I'm just amazed! You have a real gift - it really sounds likethe show. There are so many little great mscl-isms, and it's not corny, imo, at all. Write more!!!! I've glanced at the other fanfic and reall...

by the way, does anyone else wonder why they have to go from making out to full-on intercourse? i know i have asked this question before in some capacity.. and i think my own answer is that it;s hard to talk about different types of sexual acts on primetime family tv, but jeez, couldn't they do som...

"Yea...I remembered those shows after I posted. Some of those shows were good. They did play a lot more videos ten years ago with the video blocks. Now, there are no video blocks. If you want to watch videos, you watch MTV2." Actually, MTV does air blocks of videos in the morning. I always wondered ...

What I don't understand is why the low ratings. MTV aired it, what, within a year of its cancellation to great ratings, am I right? Were young people (other than us) not aware of is while it was airing, but MTV recognized it for what it was and gave it the audience it should have had? I was furious ...

Hi all! I just posted an intro under the "newbies introduce yourself here" thread.... been looking for somewhere to jump in, but I can't think of much worthwhile to say, so I'll just start blabbing -- I hate to join this group on a negative note, but I am one of the folks on the anti-Halloween (and ...
