Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

I watched Eternal Sunshine recently, and LOVED it! :love I don't want to go on and on about it, cause I don't want to ruin the movie for others, I was just curious as to what other people thought of the film. Did you like it? Hate it? I loved Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet, their performances were outs...

Tom Robbins

I loved Jitterbug Perfume! I'm a little obsessive, so I also read Skinny Legs and All, Another Roadside Attraction, Half Asleep in Frog Pajamas, and Still Life With Woodpecker. But my favorite is still Cowgirls, probably because it was the first one I read. The only book that I couldn't finish readi...

Rabbit-Proof Fence

I recently watched Rabbit-Proof Fence, and it immediately became my new favorite movie. It's beautifully shot, the acting is amazing, the plot is unbelievable. It's one of the most beautiful movies I have ever seen! The story is inspiring, it's based on a true story about three Aboriginal girls and ...

Any Tom Robbins fans??

I love Tom Robbins, (not to be confused with the actor Tim Robbins, whom I also adore), but it seems that his writing is so quirky, that people either hate him or love him. My favorite book was Even Cowgirls Get the Blues (yea, the movie was terrible). How about you? Do you love/like/hate his work? ...

Speaking of Star Wars...

Speaking of Star Wars, has anyone seen A Galaxy Far Far Away? It's a cool little documentary on the Star Wars phenomenon. It offers insights into the attraction of Star Wars, without mocking the hard core fans, (even though some of the people who were interviewed were rather quirky). It's funny, int...

Adaptation

I loved this movie, even though I am not a Nicolas Cage fan. I thought he did a great job! I agree with dTheatre, though, the ending was rather lame. Chris Cooper- amazing!!

Rules...

I really disliked this movie. I hated the characters, thought the plot was weak, and I just felt ill after watching it. I thought I was going to like it because I liked American Psycho, but I guess I was wrong. :?

Donnie Darko

The following sites have great insights into the movie:

the official site, http://www.donniedarko.com , is not very helpful.

Sex and the City

I'm just curious as to what others think about Sex and the City. I really liked the show the first season, it was different and fresh. The rest of the seasons, however, just seem to re-hash some of the same tired themes. The weird thing is, even though I claim to dislike the show, I keep coming back...
