Keep trying...

It looks like at this point the only way anybody is getting refunds from AU is via their snail-mail refund form. I sent in the email request, and it took a couple months to get the refund form in the mail. I promptly sent it back and in a month or 2 I finally got a check from AU. So I would recommen...

I'm still waiting on the form, which is obviously just yet another delaying tactic. Why couldn't they email it and have us print it and mail it back? Why do they even need this claim form in the first place? They have all the info they need. Just another delaying tactic, and we'll never see any money.

Re: Want to participate in an expose' about AnotherUniverse?

Passing along this message for The Naked Hedgehog Weblog. <snip> but there's one crucial one missing: the one in which AU admits to double- or triple-billing its customers. Is there anyone out there who would be willing to share their copy? You can remain anonymous if you wish. And if you have any ...

No, Amazon sucks. (well, USPS does anyway)

I just found out that somebody at my local post office STOLE or LOST my box set shipped from Amazon! Sheesh is there anything else that can go wrong? I paid AU $100 that I'll probably never get back, and now the post office stole my DVD s from Amazon! (The local Chicago Post Office is notoriously co...

Well, Ross DID put OUR stolen money into CD's, so you are right, we ARE ...

I wasn't talking about a preorder. The Dr. Who set I mentioned had already been released when I checked for it on the Best Buy website. Apparently Best buy is just SLOW to stock this type of dvd set, cause the release date was 10/1 and I checked for it around 10/8 and it was still not available in s...

Well, not at MY Best Buy stores. =) and the website specifically said that the set was NOT available for in-store pickup. Maybe that has changed since I checked a week or 2 ago.

Actually, it's fairly common for bestbuy.com to carry the more obscure boxsets, and not carry them in the stores. Last week I was looking for the new Doctor Who "Key to Time" series 6-disk set, which is arguably more popular than MSCL would be, released by Warner Bros., and it was available for onli...
