While I bailed on AU when it was clear they weren't going to deliver, I still fronted them $100 for most of a year, and would like at least the opportunity to get the bonus disc. I would urge BF to make the material nonexclusive, then if MSCL.com could come up with some additional interviews or what...

Sorry Martin Pierre, but that's not the way things work in Canada. I called the RCMP and told them the story. They basically said it's too bad, but there are millions of internet scams going on, and 99 per cent of them will never get investigated. They wouldn't even take my name. I hate to sound smu...

It should be noted that the longer AU holds out, the less likely anyone will have any recourse through their credit card companies. Don't be too surprised to hear a "sorry, but due to circumstances beyond our control, we have cancelled the bonus items" out of Ross when all hope at a credit card solu...

GWhiz is doing the smart thing. I know someone else who is in a similar position. They started a project for one client, were paid a deposit, the client's company went through some changes and was sold to someone else. now the new people ask for the product, but since they didn't pay for it, everyth...

Unfortunately, many people are innept when it comes to running a business. Companies go under, bills are left unpaid, merchandise never ships. Proving intent is pretty difficult, though I think in Ross' case there is enough history to present a pretty strong case, but I'm not a jury. We all know Ros...

I'm sure the IRS would be interested in all these benefactors who keep paying Ross' bills.

I would assume that Another Universe only has a limited window to license these lunchboxes, since I doubt Disney is stupid enough to leave that open ended. That will be the next issue I'm sure. I also wonder how AU's contract is worded as far as rights being applicable to different companies, if the...

The problem is one of proving intent. If there was no intent to commit fraud, then no law is broken. Being bad at running a business is not illegal, doing it on purpose is another matter.

I think it's pretty clear that these bonus materials will never materialise. AU has lied about everything from the very beginning, and it doesn't look like any change of name (moving of the shill) is going to change things. I feel sorry for those who held out expecting AU to finally come through, bu...

While I filed through Drygrass about my cancellation, I never authorised the publication of that data to anyone outside AU or perhaps federal authorities. To have our full names (until they were edited out) and order numbers made available on the internet is a breach of the terms of filing the compl...

You are under no obligation to return them, nor any obligation to pay for them. I'd put them up on ebay.

But we have a right to find out WHAT the problem is, since WE are the paying customers. We already know what the problem is. AU hasn't paid for the lunchboxes. No payment, no shipment. AU doesn't give a rat's ass about the paying customers, otherwise none of this fiasco would have started in the fi...

That is AU's operating guidelines: "We will rip you off AND ignore you at no extra cost - okay, maybe just a bit of extra cost."

The last I heard all phone lines we disconnected, all email addresses closed.

Hopefully you paid by credit card. If so, call your CC company and request a refund for goods not delivered. You can be pretty certain that AU isn't going to send your second set.
