I live in the UK - I haven't received my lunchbox & disc from AU yet - I've mailed them several times but not had a reply. Gonna be pretty pi55ed off if I don't get them - I ordered within a couple of days of the original announcement so there's no way I wasn't in the first 2,500.

I'd be happy to distribute it to everyone from the UK that ordered. I have a DVD burner and a broadband connection.

How come? I have to pay UPS about £18 for tax, plus a £10 "Brokerage Charge"! Total £28.37

UPS tried to deliver my set today (I was out for all of 15 minutes!) - instead they put a note through my door saying I had to pay £28.37 to receive the package.

This is made up of £18.37 of taxes plus a £10 "brokerage" fee.

What a bloomin swiz - that adds nearly half to the cost of the box set!

One of my friends who pre-ordered hasn't received a tracking number either. Are you all still using the same e-mail account that you pre-ordered from? I think we all know AU's track record when it comes to keeping their information up to date even if you do tell them again and again!

Hi Mr P, I think you may have been in a minority - the general rule of thumb was that AU were only going to charge shipping when the parcel was dispatched, not when you ordered. When I placed my order (early March), I paid $20 deposit, then another $79.98 in April and was double billed another $79.9...

Beware, I think that, if UPS have to pay customs fees in advance to get the package into the country, you also have to pay around 15 euros surcharge on top of the actual tax.

That is my experience in the past - hopefully AU have done the correct documentation that we won't pay import tax - we'll see!

Well, I take it back. I did receive a tracking number by e-mail (although it's only a request for shipping, UPS don't actually have the parcel yet in their possesion yet - some people in the first wave received this but didn't get their parcel because AU never delivered the package to UPS). For thos...

So, from the various posts, all the DVDs will have shipped by close of business today AND everyone who has had a set shipped to them will get a tracking number via e-mail... ...well, there's only a couple hours or Pacific time Friday to go and I for one have still recieved zero communication from AU...

Err, well, whether they actually deliver all the "extras" is another matter entirely.

If they can't even sort out international shipping when the DVDs are sitting in their warehouse, you have to wonder.

Update for international customers

Hi all, I just phoned AU again (as I have every day for the last five days). Each day they update their answerphone message and today's stated that all US customer's orders will be shipped by the end of this week and everyone else's would be shipped "as soon as possible" . I left them a detailed mes...

I phoned 'em late yesterday; their answerphone message said that the second wave of DVDs had arrived at their warehouse and that shipping of the second wave would start yesterday (Monday).

Still not got any tracking number or sign of a refund of my double charge though!

I just had a mail from Mike confirming that my order would go out with wave that starts shipping on the 15th - bloody wonderful - that means that this one and the one I bought on Amazon should arrive about the same time. I mailed back asking why my set was going to be so long when I ordered so early...
