Like so many, one of the first 2500 orders. Been patiently waiting and waiting and waiting. Nothing like a thoroughly flogged dead horse, eh? Anyhow, just as this process became more of a historical curiosity to me, than a crisis, I got on e-mail (on the 19th of this month) from "AU Shipping"...

Chiming in - got my set yesterday (in South Jersey).

Let the comedy called "Getting the Extras" now BEGIN!

Just checked out that other message board, and all I can say is WOW - who the heck are those other illiterate wanks? It hurt my eyes just sifting through some of those postings... Socrates85 especially... comes across like a 12 year old. Scary stuff. Chin up, Jason - you're doing the right thing. ~ ...

Rich, I agree, its great news about the tracking number even though it is gonna take some time to get to the East Coast. Who uses GROUND shipping anyway? Apparently AU.com Neal - no kidding! When I order things online from other e-tailers, I make darned sure NOT to get ground shipping on most thing...

FWIW - I got the shipping e-mail and UPS tracking number. I'm on the east coast, so I'm sure it'll take UPS the better part of four years to get it to me. But a tracking number is something at least. I was among those who did not cancel their AU order on account of how much a PITA it would hav...

Weird - I didn't get that e-mail. I got the one they sent out on the 21st, however.

Hmm.

Not to look a gift horse in the mouth, but...

Didn't Ross mention that those that were double/triple-charged during this event get another 'something extra' still? :o

Just wondering...

Regarding the ~possible~ free t-shirt

... if such a thing were to happen... a thought crossed my mind: What SIZE? Personally, I'd need a big shirt, and would only be miffed to find a 1XL tee or some such sent to me as a consolation prize, months after the fact. I realize it's far from written in stone (apparently - it shouldn't ...

See, it's stuff like that that makes me feel the most 'cheated' or lied-to in all this. Originally, and after all the hassle, it almost seemed worth it, in a way, if we were actually encouraging a company to make a VERY limited pressing of a series that (apparently....) had no commercial demand/inte...

There must be a way to take our minds off of it. Let's try... oh... thinking of something else! But still related! Like... <ponders> Ah! <reminisce>Remember the good old days, with all the AU overcharges, and pre-order confusion? Back when there was no Amazon pre-order at all. Those were the days!</...

Hmm.

Okay, so ... Is it fair to say, then, at this point that: AMAZON IS LEGIMATELY SELLING THE BOXED DVD SET ? With that established... what of the limited pressing problem? Is it no longer a limited pressing? And now anyone can get the series on DVD with no worry of not being on a special list, or stoc...

Confused RE: Amazon Listing

Okay... Amazon's got the set listed. Is this for real? Are they actually going to sell this set? I was under the distinct impression that this set would only be available through AU due to its limited (!) pressing and niche market. I mean, I'm glad that all the pre-order interest managed to make the...
