Well back in the day (it's been so long I can't remember) I filed a charge back with my CC company. They refunded the double charge, and have never put it back, or told me anything about it, so I assume it was taken care of a long time ago. But... I DID pay $100+ for a DVD set, bonus disk and lunchb...

I just got my DVDs today from BMG. Thankfully, Ross Rojek did not kill Christmas in this household, so I will be watching it on a brandy new TV. I will keep an eye out for the artifacts and other reported problems. This TV is seriously like 1,000 times bigger than the last one. Projection and HDTV,...

Well then don't look so hard you make your eyes go cross. You'll get a headache.

Anytime you guys want to talk C-64, thats ok by me. I loved Impossible Mission. "Ah we have a visitor. Stay awhile.....stay forever!!!" And you could go to Target, buy a 300bps modem for $29.95 and shove it in the back of the C-64 and you had the most incredible world just open up to you. I got into...

That is the best thing I have read on this board in a while.

Ted Knight did kick ass... he drew Cosmic Cow! God bless him.

Well then I know you aren't talking to me, because in this very thread this is what I said: "I'm glad that some of you can look at this disc and say to yourself, "I'm happy I made this purchase. This quality is worth it." " I'm happy you are happy. What more could you want? If we can keep that horse...

I understand what you guys are saying, but you are almost mixing two arguments into one. Sure I love the show, the characters, and the story. How I laughed and was touched at times. (and maybe I teared up, don't tell anyone). These are the reasons I wanted to buy a show that virtually no one had hea...

Listen up Aborted Fetus. One. Last. Time. 1. I don't give a God Damn if anyone on here "likes" me or not. 2. You gave your opinion, he gave his opinion, I gave my opinion. But I have never jumped on someones ass BECAUSE they gave their opinion. Just because my opinion and someone elses opinion don't...

Re: About the Quality of the Discs

Are they better than ANY friends copy on VHS from the MTV marathon? By a mile. And that is where your logic breaks down. The DVDs are not better than my copies of the MTV Marathon.....in video. They are in audio. But I didn't buy a remastered audio CD of the screen play, I bought a television show....

If you won't 'give' it to the person who actually posted for it, then sell it to the highest bidder on eBay.

If it was going to be a popularity contest from the get go, then why even start the thread to begin with?

Yeah layer changes are so far an imperfect science, but go hand in hand with DVD. Those are expected. Multimillion dollar studios put layer changes on multimillion dollar movies in the weirdest places, sometimes in the middle of someone speaking. But I can safely say that I was not scouring the vide...

Well first let's keep it straight that AU is not the author of the DVD's. They are the distributor. BMG/AIX 'made' the DVD's. The problem I have with the 5.1 mix is that the music is a little loud in conjunction with the speech, and the surrounds are really pumped up. I'm guessing the Rear Left and ...

Wow, I hadn't come across this myself since I listen to the 2.0 tracks. I like them better. The 5.1 tracks are.....weird to me.
