Hmm, well the good news is I got a cheque this morning. Bad news is it's for half the amount I'm owed. AU double charged me, and then I cancelled my order, so I should have got $230 back. My cheque was for $115. I've emailed them to ask why, but no response as yet. The most annoying thing is that, a...

Re: Twin Peaks - the season one boxset just released in the UK includes the pilot. I'm not sure why that is. Seems to have some additional extras as well. Amazing - for once, we region 2s get a better deal! :D

to that end the newsletter had also included a list of other internet retailers (link to FAQ) selling the DVD Box Set (sans bonus disc and lunchbox) Just a small point, but I'd change the word "sans" for the word "without". Just to avoid any possible confusion ("Sans bonus disc? What the hell is a ...

Well, I emailed him at ross@comicshop.net when I cancelled at the beginning of last week (or the week before? brain not work good), and have had absolutely no response whatsoever, so I think he's just not taking any notice of emails at all (at least not from his customers).

Hey! My birthday is late November too - the 25th to be precise, and I'm really hoping they turn up as a birthday present. Albeit a very expensive birthday present to myself.

If you put the Talking Ross doll and the Talking Jason doll together, you get hours of interactive fun!

Hear Ross come out with hundreds of different excuses!
Hear Jason cry real tears of frustration!

I haven't seen any MSCL since it was broadcast here in the UK, so pretty much all I remember about it is that I loved it! I'm not even sure that I managed to catch all the episodes, so I've been salivating at the thought of these DVDs. :P When I (eventually) get to watch it again, I will certainly b...

I am sticking with AU at the moment, but only because Ross has indicated that I will get a refund of my double charge soon, and because I am a sucker for all that extra stuff he's promising. However, my opinion is very much in the balance at the moment, and if we hear any more bad news (ahem,...

Yep, multi-region means you can play DVDs from anywhere. Region 1 is the US (and probably some other places), Region 2 is Europe. Region 0 (which is what the MSCL DVDs are) means they're "uncoded" and so will play on any player. I think I'm going to have to invest in a widescreen TV soon too - it is...

Hiya Starbug! I'm in the UK too, and I know what you mean about Dixons! Have you tried Richer Sounds (http://www.richersounds.com)? If you can get to one of their shops, they're pretty helpful for the clueless first time buyer. I've not tried ordering online, but you can have a look and see what you...
