well. I wasn't even planning on replying here ever again, actually. but it seems that my position has been quite misconstrued. I'm not one for ambiguity, so here it goes: I am not at all against making the bonus materials available through other sources. I am firmly in support of that, and that as m...
wow, this is really upsetting. it now very much feels like you're (and I certainly don't even mean just, or even primarily, Jason here) trying to punish anyone who's, in your opinions, foolish enough to keep their original order. like, "so, you're gonna stay with AU, huh? well, we'll just see about ...
Re: Update for Lunchboxnope. it would be 6pm on the east coast. pst stands for pacific standard time.
Now I understand the problem. Ross has been getting "advise" from his lawyers, which we all know is about as useful as a lemonade stand on the moon. If they'd given him advice, on the other hand, maybe none of this madness would have transpired. Just an observation. Hmm...a lemonade stand on ...
A few other outlets for complaints about AU's conduct...I have a few suggestions if you wish to get back at AU. Contact entities in the comics/collectibles industry and tell them of this debacle in extreme detail. I have a few places in mind... If someone could include me in the mythical sharing of the love, that would be cool.

Re: anyone get their DVD ok yeah...they cancelled my order but charged me, and when I call to fix the situation, or send a customer request, it's never answered or I get the voice mail. So....seriously. Who has gotten their shipment? um...if you got one of the cancellation emails, you really ought to get in touch with them...
Yeah, is there any way to find out if we are with (or after) the first 2500? well, on the "DVD NEWS" page, March 28 was the date that the "Pre-Orders sold out!" information was posted. so, one might reason that as long as one ordered sometime before then, that one would be among the initial 2,500 s...
I certainly understand not wanting to make an international call, but I frankly wouldn't trust AU to fix this problem on their own. when I first called, my order was quite definitely listed in their computers as cancelled. if I hadn't actually called them, it probably still would be. so, make of tha...
actually, though the multiple releases of DVDs thing ticks me off a lot, the lord of the rings situation is not the same kind of thing. the 2-disc version that was just released is the theatrical, "as the director intended" cut of the film plus a few extras. however, it was announced a long time ago...
this happened to me as well. all emails I sent went unanswered, so I called AU's customer service. I was told that my order had been reinstated and that the extra charge they put on my card would be credited back...that part hasn't happened yet, but the fellow I spoke with seemed quite certain that ...
