Re: What are Lifer's watching these days?

Oh I am completely addicted to True Blood, like an addict to V. (If you watch the show or read the books, you'd know what I mean ) It's miles away from Twilight in my humble opinion.

I also like Flight of the Conchords, Sex and the City (wow, HBO theme much?), and Skins.

Re: Number Eight

Actually, the "Wonderful Life" reference is the number 3 (and the entire scene where Angela changes her clothes behind the bushes). There's a scene in "It's a Wonderful Life" where the young George offers Mary to "lasso the moon" and wears a shirt with the number 3. episode_01_2505.jpg 0501-its-a-w...

Re: Number Eight

I think I read somewhere on these forums that there was a mention on the pilot commentary that the number 8 on Devon Gummersall's jersey in the pilot was a reference to It's a Wonderful Life, though not sure from where in the film. So maybe it has to do with that?

Re: a REAL revival...

I think it would be a horrible idea to recast. Bringing back a few members of the old cast would be the only interesting thing about it, like they did on the new 90210. But then they risk damaging the characters we love from the original show with faulty writing, and then the new show wouldn't be as...

Re: Songs that remind you of MSCL?

Smashing Pumpkins' "1979" always reminds me not only of the show, but of the classic pilot shot on the street for some reason, and I have no idea why.

Re: What do you think Tino was really like?

I've always pictured Tino as older than the rest of the group, but since he still went to Liberty High, I saw him as a senior, left back either once or twice (like Catalano), making him either 18 or 19. I don't think he was as devastatingly handsome as Jordan, but attractive in his own way. His styl...

Re: They call themselves fans ?!

I second that! I'd LOVE a complete MSCL cd! I have the official one, but like everyone else, I find it lacking.

Re: Newbies!

Hey everyone! I'm Krystal, and I'm 22. I was only 8 years old when the show first aired in 1994, so I didn't watch it then. I caught it years later in the late '90s on MTV, when I was a bit older and was thus able to connect to it more, though I was still young (12). I remember watching the marathon...

Re: What did he mean?

I agree with chaseface888 that both Rayanne and Jordan wanted to be closer to Angela. Rayanne's mother said once that "[Rayanne] wants to be Angela" in Guns and Gossip , and with Rayanne down about thinking she messed up the audition -- as well as thinking that Angela could play Emily, with the inno...
