You'll be able to order it from Amazon (and other stores), but not for a long time. I expect an October release will be up for preordering in August.

Hey guys, it's been awhile since I was in here :D

I've already told Shout! about the MT&R panel (they've licensed those for some other sets), and told them it would be a good idea to get MSCL.com on board with the DVDs.

I'm glad the news got picked up elsewhere.

Judgement

When I asked him about the 6 figure judgement against him he replied something to the effect of "Nothing that I'm dealing with right now"

So, I don't know if he's lying about the judgement, or he's just saying that he's not dealing with it right now....just ignoring the thing.

Actually....

At one point Ross said that he wants to get this over with and move on. I really believe he means it. Hell, *I* wouldn't want a bunch of pissed off MSCL fans dogging me everywhere I went. Then again, I wouldn't do anything to piss off a group of fans. At one point I asked about the refunds and he sa...

Spoke to Ross on the phone....

I spoke to Ross on the phone Sunday afternoon, and here's what he had to say: The lunchboxes are done and should have shipped yesterday. He expects it will take 3 weeks for them to arrive, so let's be nice and say a month. The delay is due to the lunchboxes failing inspection twice. He is going to t...

Don't worry...

Don't worry, that's a post from 2001. Old, old news.

Well, yes, of course.

Everything should be taken with a grain of salt. After all, how many people on the forum have been lied to by Ross, and how many people believe the guy. I'm guessing that would be the entire forum vs. 0 (or 1...I don't know if Martin still believes Ross).

ROSS calls JASON (on the phone)

I just got off the phone with Jason. He's in the city, away from the computer, and Ross gave him a call. I wasmadly taking notes as Jason spoke, so here's what I got: The lunchboxes are coming from Hong Kong. The bonus disc is being worked on, but Ross is waiting on 3 signatures from people who appe...

It's funny that Peter mentioned Brisco since Fox doesn't even own the rights to the show. Yes, it aired on the Fox network, but it's owned by Warner Bros.

Months ago I emailed Ross and suggested he place a $5 US value on the items. That's enough that it's worth something, but also low enough that all the countries I know of don't place a tax or tarrif on the goods.

He said he'd look into it.

WKRP will NEVER come to DVD (this came from someone at Fox). The music rights would cost millions.

Just checked out that other message board, and all I can say is WOW - who the heck are those other illiterate wanks? It hurt my eyes just sifting through some of those postings... It will have to take precedent over Band Of Brothers, which we just received on Saturday. What a beautiful boxset, with tons of extras. We watched Part One and Two last night. What a great series. I LOVED Band of Brothers! The audio is simply amazing. I spent last Saturday on the couch for 7 hours ...

Even as recent as the first two seasons of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" did shows edit on non-high definition video, leaving the possibility of picture improvement far behind. Check out the first season of "Buffy" on DVD. Very dark and muddy with a soft shifting grain that comes from video processing...
