One thing that's so great about MSCL is that it shows the parents as real people and not caricatures. ALthough Patti often acts like a stereotypical mother in the way she reacts to things, at least you get an impression of the dilemma's going through her head. It's the first thing I've seen that rea...

I laughed out loud last night at the bit in "Other People's Mothers" when Patti's mum has put a turkey in the fridge, and Graeme's just standing there starting into it with a look of disbelief and dispair on his face. It's hilarious!

Are forums good for you?

I've been going to a forum since 2001. A long time. Today the girl that runs it posted a very upset post to say that a small group of member had been discussing her and her life behind her back in their blogs and saying quite hurtful things. She was very upset and is going to close the forum. I feel...

:) :) :) I watched 2 episodes last night and got up early and watched the third this morning. Oh my god, it's so good! Even better than I thought. I couldn't get to sleep after because it was going through my head all night. It brought back so much of being a teenager. I wish I'd had someone as drea...

Tonight's the night!

Tonight for the first time in 12 years I will be seeing MSCL! (and i've only ever seen 1 episode, and that was dubbed in German!) I feel this is a momentous moment in mscl.com forum terms and should be marked by something. Perhaps a speech... ..ahem... ...we are gathered here tonight... ...on second...

Wow, this sounds like it would be a good series. It's about time someone did a realistic drama about people in their twenties. TV just disappears into a black hole between MSCL and Desperate Housewives/Sex and the City (which are hardly realistic) where it is supposed people are with their significa...

Wow, you had a cool English teacher. We had a History teacher that used to bring in episodes of Blackadder Goes Forth to teach us about WWI, although I'm not sure it was historically correct!! I don't remember watching more than half an episode when I was younger. I still haven't seen it since! (My ...

I regularly go to another forum based around LM Montgomery's books (a bit lame, I know, but I grew up with those books! Anyway, we rarely talk about the books now as we're all growed up) I@ve been on this forum for about 5 years and we sent each other xmas presents and stuff. Everyone's really frien...

I'm looking forward to Batman Begins. Surely the best Batman cast ever, and from the trailer it looks fantastically dark like the original Tim Burton one. Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman (mmm, yummy) Michael Caine as Albert the Butler (living legend) Gary Oldman Ken Wanatabe (from The Last Samu...

Quicktime or mpeg clips?

Does anyone know of anywhere on the internet with clips that aren't in Relaplayer format? I use my housemate's mac and she doesn't want to download Realplayer!! :x

Hallo!

Not sure it's the right thing at all! This weekend I went home and my ex had suggested that I look him up next time I'm back, so we said we'd meet up on Sunday. At the last minute his parents decided to stick around for an extra day's visit and we couldn't meet up. Not at all his fault, but it made ...
