Hey, MSCL was life-changing for some people. ;)

Ooops, sorry that I missed the previous threads on this subject.

Can't wait for I Love the 90's Part 2 and let's cross our fingers that MSCL finally is mentioned, with some more talk from Rayanne. How could it not be?

Btw, I was very upset that in the 1994 episode, the show MSCL wasn't even mentioned. I thought maybe with its recent popularity with teens again that they would include a segment on the great, life-changing show, but, alas, no. :(

A.J. Langer on VH1's I Love the 90's (2004)

Moderator note: thread moved to the Afterlife forum Did anyone here see A.J. Langer this week on VH1's "I Love the 90's" series? I've seen her make a few comments so far this week as one of the panel of commentators and comedians. One was in the 1993 episode and then she was in the 1997 episode las...

Nice posts from everyone on this thread. I love the connections the writers made from the characters' lives to classic literature.

How many different characters can you get? Arre Sharon and Rickie even possibilities, for example? Because it seems like almost everyone is getting Jordan or Angela.

Probably too soon to be asking, but has anyone heard if and when the second season will be released? No news yet. I can't wait to buy my first season of GG on DVD! And I'm also excited for the start of the new season. I really want to see Lorelai and Luke continue withtheir relationship, although I...

MSCL book?

Sorry if this seems like a stupid question, but I've heard rumours about there being an MSCL book written. Is this true? If so, who wrote it and is it still available for purchase in US book stores?

There is an interesting essay about this written by Janet Halfyard.

I'd rather have a book than a movie. That'd be the easier path, too. No need to bring together all the old actors who have moved on to different projects. And there's no way you can have a MSCL movie with replacement actors. More importantly, I think it would be more rewarding for the fans. A book w...

Does anyone have the link for that quiz? I'd love to see who my MSCL twin is! Probably Angela, since I can relate to her the most or maybe Rickie. Or maybe Brian. Or maybe Sharon. LOL, I don't know.

MSCL
Popular
Freaks and Geeks
Angel
Boston Public

All shows I could relate to and found to be very current/controversial while being sophisticated and witty.

The best song in the series is definitely Violent Femmes' "Blister in the Sun" in the episode where Angela finally gets over Jordan - temporarily, at least. I love that scene. Nice observations, Nostradmus. I do love that episode of West Wing and its the very last scene olf the season (forget which ...

Interesting theory that could very well be valid. I also wonder what shows MSCL was up against in its weekly time slot? Any popular series on the other main networks?
