Winnie Holzman and her daughter Savannah Dooley wrote the script for a new TV drama based on Alloy Entertainment's young-adult novel "Huge" by Sasha Paley. ABC Family ordered now 10 episodes of "Huge", scheduled to premiere somtime in 2010. Winnie Holzman will be Executive Producer on the pilot episode.

A.J. Langer recently gave birth to her second child, according to an annoucement at telegraph.co.uk. Jack Haydon Langer was born on August 16th at home in California. The father is AJ's husband Lord Charles Courtenay. Congratulations!

It sounds almost unbelievable, but fifteen years ago on this day, Aug 25 1994, ABC aired the first episode of "My So-Called Life." The show was canceled less than nine months later, but it's still a world-wide phenomenon. New generations of viewers have discovered the show in recent years, thanks to the DVD releases and the online offers of ABC.com and hulu.com. ShoutFactory (which also released "My So-Called Life" on DVD in 2007) will finally release the first season of the Zwick/Herskovitz drama series "thirtysomething" on DVD on August 25, 2009.
