Nellie Andreeva over at deadline.com reports that Claire Danes will star as the lead of a new Showtime drama show titled "Homeland". It is described as a psychological thriller from former "24" executive producer/showrunner Howard Gordon about a female CIA case officer (Claire Danes) who tracks down threats to homeland security coming from the Middle East. Winnie Holzman and her daughter Savannah Dooley wrote the script for a new TV drama based on Alloy Entertainment's young-adult novel "Huge" by Sasha Paley. ABC Family ordered now 10 episodes of "Huge", scheduled to premiere somtime in 2010. Winnie Holzman will be Executive Producer on the pilot episode.

A.J. Langer recently gave birth to her second child, according to an annoucement at telegraph.co.uk. Jack Haydon Langer was born on August 16th at home in California. The father is AJ's husband Lord Charles Courtenay. Congratulations!
