Look, if this is weird for you, being tutored? I don't mind helping you a little longer.
You could have sex with me if you really want to help...I guess that's a "no"?

Starbug, I kept meaning to post about this, but I bought this book last month! I had seen it at the bookstore right after it came out here in the States, but I exercised a little bit of self control...until I saw it at Cost Co at a really good price. Then I couldn't resist! I read most of it the first weekend I had it and was laughing out loud - finally, someone else who can't stand extraneous apostrophes!

Its been a best seller for a while, now, hasn"t it? I should check it out too brush, up on my punctuation; and grammar.

Indeed... It was a must-have purchase for both Mr. S's father and my father last Christmas. It is one of those books that you just can't put down. I'm glad you eventually picked it up as I knew it would be right up your street.

BTW pointless fact: Lynne Truss went to the same university as me. You should see the hullaballoo being made of that fact in the Uni magazines.

At least Nostradamus didn't go so far as to spell grammar with an "er" at the end. I can't begin to tell you how many times I have to correct that.
Sometimes I write a little MSCL fanfiction: https://www.fanfiction.net/u/1039807/Jody-Barsch
Also, after multiple V. Mars reiterations, and finally a Deadwood movie, still wishing for some continuation of The Riches !

Besides the classics (it's/its, you're/your, they're/their), two of the words I corrected a lot were definately and seperate.
