AVO: And suddenly there were, like, twenty pairs of eyes on me. Some of them wondering. What the hell was going on. And then there were these other eyes. Bored eyes (shot of RAYANNE), understanding eyes (shot of RICKIE), confused eyes (shot of JORDAN) but worst of all, the hurt eyes (shot of BRIAN). And suddenly, I just felt like I couldn't breathe.
(ANGELA gathers her stuff, gets up, heads for door)
KATIMSKY: Angela, hold it! (ANGELA exits) Would some like to tell me just what is... going on around here?! Gee whiz people, we've only got 8 lessons left on this text! Brian! Start reading!
(BRIAN awkwardly starts reading. RICKIE looks nervously at the door at intervals)
STUDENT: Yo, Mr Katimsky, how long's this gonna take?
STUDENT2: Yeah, I got practise now.
KATIMSKY: We are going to finish the scene. Continue. Gee whiz people, how are you going to pass your... exams if we don't finish the ... unit.
(RICKIE passes note to RAYANNE. She opens it)
RICKIE's NOTE: What about Angela?
(RAYANNE writes something, passes note back)
RAYANNE's NOTE: Relax. She's fine. See her later.
(RICKIE writes something, passes note back)
RICKIE's NOTE: Should I go see?
(RAYANNE writes something, passes note back)
RAYANNE's NOTE: Up to you. K. will have a hissyfit tho' if you do.
(RICKIE reads note, looks at RAYANNE. They make shruggy faces back in silent conversation to one another)
KATIMSKY: Rayanne. Enrique. Pay attention.
